PAINTING AND PHOTOEXHIBITION IN FEBUARY 2024 : "Feels Like Blue"
Welcome to the vibrant world of "Feels Like Blue," where every stroke on canvas whispers a tale, and hues of blue unveil the artist's profound journey into the realms of emotion and creativity. There is something blue in every work.

About the Exhibition
In "Feels Like Blue," I delve into the essence of the color blue, weaving it into every canvas with a narrative that speaks of my artistic evolution. From the tranquil depths of the sea to the vast expanse of the sky, blue serves as the anchor for a visual journey that spans decades of private shows in Tampere, Riihimäki, Turku, Hämeenlinna, Hyvinkää, and Helsinki.
A Glimpse into the Artistic Process
As a University Teacher of Art Education at the University of Turku, my daily engagement with pictures and art finds expression in this collection. The theme revolves around the shifting seasons, the play of light and shadow, and the eternal dance of nature's elements. From the rising waters to the descending snowflakes, each piece encapsulates the profound connection between the human spirit and the ever-changing landscapes.
Why "Feels Like Blue"?
Blue is more than a color; it's a symbol of peace, zen, and tranquility. In every brushstroke, I strive to capture the essence of water and sky, inviting you to witness the harmony within chaos, the calm within the storm.
I invite you to join me in this artistic sojourn. Together, let's explore the power of blue, transcend boundaries, and discover the profound beauty that lies within the layers of each artwork. The exhibition promises an immersive experience, where you can see the world through my eyes and feel the emotion infused in every canvas.

The longer a camera's shutter remains open, the more light it takes in. I am trying to capture the beauty of motion and paint with light and movement.
